Business confidence among CFOs lowest in 6 quarters

The Dun & Bradstreet Composite CFO Optimism Index, a measure of business confidence among chief financial officers of India Inc, dipped in the third quarter (July to September) of calendar 2017 to its lowest in six quarters. The survey covered 300 respondents, and they cited subdued demand, strained corporate balance sheets, stressed banking assets, pressure on public finances and execution of the goods and services tax (GST) as areas of concern.
